American Gladiators

My buddy just sent me a link to this video. This is so classic and brings back so many memories. My buddy is almost a decade younger then me, so it makes me happy to see he’s tuned into life before the Y generation? lol Is that the name they call teens today?

Anyways, my friend knows more classic rocks songs then anyone I know my age or older and the dude is 22 years old. Makes me proud.

American Gladiators used to be one of my favorite shows to watch. This was our reality television and the WWF.

The days when they showed more fitness on television, like Tony Little, Body by Jake, Richard Simons, etc.. Now they have taken physical education out of the school system, feed you horrible food that puts you in a bad mood. Then you go home, play PS3, play Call of Duty to release your aggression and dumbed down by a smart phone or sitting on FaceWaster updating your status.. WOW, how times have changed.

This photo is pretty cool and funny. Good job by the photographer.

Gymnast Brandon Wynn busting a double or triple something on the Vault. I look forward to seeing this exciting sport.

Hanging on by a thread – Alex Honnold

This is unbelievable. Coming from a former elite gymnast who’s life revolves around thrills. This is almost hard to watch Alex Honnold scale these gigantic mountains. I am a big fan of free solo climbing and wish I had the opportunity to scale more mountains. I admire Alex for his relentless courage, precision and strength!!!!

R.I.P Jamie Pierre

Professional skier Jamie Pierre was killed Sunday afternoon by an avalanche he triggered while he and a friend were snowboarding at Utah‘s Snowbird Ski Resort. The resort had not yet opened for the season and conditions throughout the area were hazardous in the aftermath of a major storm.
